Eviction Filings and Defaults in Pima, Arizona

During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a state-wide moratorium on evictions from March 24, 2020 to October 31, 2020.

The CDC moratorium was in place from September 4, 2020 through August 26, 2021.

The eviction counts in January and February 2020 are 71% and 79% percent of the filings reported by the courts. For all other months from 2020 forward, our eviction filing counts differs from the court statistics by a small fraction.
